Some realllyyyyy nice sets from Monki, I especially like the second picture. You can find them all at the Monki site. Tomorrow and Wednesday I will be in Amsterdam, where they have a Monki shop, I hope I will have some sparetime to go there!

Yesterday I went to my grandpa's birthday and me and my cousin took some pictures at the skateramp, just when the sun was going down. I think it gives a pretty cool effect.

I am wearing my primark shoes, the selfmade galaxytee, a jeanshirt from Only, necklace by Six, a black skirt from The Sting and grey thights from the H&M, just as the ring.

My brother, my cousins and I also went 'planking'it is a hype on facebook, look at a little clip about it HERE. It is fun to do (:

It's time to say goodbye to turning tables

A picture my friend took of me a while ago. I want to take other pictures soon, but I don't know when and where. Right now I'm listening to the cd 21 by Adele, you should really listen to it, she makes beautiful music! The title is a quote from her song Turning Tables.

And I think this is a good time to thank all of you for your great comments I get on my posts! It is really satisfying to see people actually like what I write down, haha! So thanks a lot (:

Ok, so about the Award....
The rules seem to be that I have to share ten facts about myself and then tag 10 other bloggers to do the same, so here it comes!

Ten facts about me:
1. I live in the Netherlands, the small country next to Belgium and Germany.

2. I'm in the fourth grade of VWO, that is the highest level of High school you can go to in Holland (: My favourite subject at school is Arts, I love to 'create' things (:

3. I love to sing when no one is there, or even when someone is there, but I really can't sing at all, haha.

4. My feet are huge, I have size 41 ( 9.5 in the US). It's always frustrating to find shoes in the right size...

5. I play waterpolo for almost seven years now and I have training four times a week. I really enjoy being in the water and swimming, and it also feels great to win. I met people there, and I would (and could) never forget them. They are such a big part of my life. Some of the greatest friendships in my life are because of waterpolo.

6. I used to have glasses, but now I wear nightlenses; you put them in at night and at day you can see perfectly (:

7. I also used to wear braces. You know, the big ones with a cap on my head. It looked ridiculous and I couldn't speak normally with that enormous thing in my mouth. I'm glad I don't have to wear that thing anymore!

8. I wake up at 6:45 in the morning to get ready for school, because I have to cycle half an hour to get to my school. I wish school started at 12:00, I love to sleep.

9. This summer I will go to Greece with my family for three weeks. I'm really excited for this, because we have never been there before (well, that's not exactly true. I have been there, but then I was like four years old, and I don't really remember a thing.) I bet it is going to be a great vacation!

10. I started this blog because my father told me it would be a good idea, sounds weird right? I always wanted to do something creative and I really love fashion, so a blog sounded as a great solution. I started searching other fashionblogs to get some inspiration and then I finally made this blog. It started small, posting one thing a week, but now I try to post as much as I can!
I really enjoy making posts for this blog and taking pictures. And I also love to read other blogs.

Wow.... I feel like I'm talking to much about myself, haha. I really think the following bloggers deserve this award too:

Oh mirror in the sky, what is love?

Sorry for the not posting anything the past week; Life has been busy.
Last week I had to do a lot for school, and this week I will have a testweek. The week after that, will also be very busy, but I will go to Amsterdam on Tuesday and Wednesday! (for school, but I will have some sparetime at wednesday = shopping!)

DIY Galaxy tee

I finally have my galaxytee! Who would have ever thought I would make it myself? (:
And because I like it so much; here is a DIY!

Things you need:
- Fabricpaint (my paint was supposed to be used on white fabric, but I don't think it would be better to buy paint for dark fabric)
- A black top or shirt
- A sponge or brush to apply the paint
- Something to tighten your shirt

Build the painting up in layers. first the dark colors, and at the end the lightest ones. I used a very dark blue, lila, brown and lightblue. I had some kind of  white 'paintstick' to apply the stars.
After you have painted everything, let your shirt dry for two hours. After that, turn it inside out and iron the back of the painting, this is called 'fixating'.
Ofcourse it's possible to paint something else, I hope I gave you some good inspiration!

I hear music in my dreams

Today I will be going to Bevrijdingspop, in Haarlem. A popfestival from all kind of artists, to celebrate the freedom of The Netherlands. (the fifth of May was the day Holland got freed from the Germans, in the second world war)

The last two years I went here it was nice, but this time it's going to be even nicer! There will come a lot of cool artists and I will be with a lot of friends.
Here are some of the singers who will perform today:
Ben Saunders (this man has won the first edition of The Voice of Holland)
Waylon (a Dutch singer)
The Baseballs (a German band who covers songs and gives them a nice 'old' feeling)
Kate Nash
and Ben l'oncle Soul
The festival is already going on, but we are going in the afternoon. I hope we will see al these singers perform today! (because it's always very hectic and busy...)

Looking Vintage

These are the sunglasses I bought last saturday, for only 1 euro! They look pretty cool don't they? (:
Today I got this necklace from my mother which she has bought at Jutka & Riska, an vintage store in Heemstede, Haarlem, Amsterdam and Antwerp. Jutka & Riska also has a BLOG, go check it out!
I'm really happy with all these accesoires!

Galaxies all over the place

I'm definately gonna make something like THIS in my vacation! I've been searching for a pretty long time now to have such a tee, why wouldn't I make it myself?
The only thing I need is a simple black tee and paint... And paintingskills, that's true. But you can always try, right?

Come Closer

I hope this picture gives you a better look on the outfit I wore in the last post. The cardigan is from Vero Moda, The shirt and skirt are from H&M, the necklace from Bijou Brigitte, the belt is from Primark, just as the shoes.
Yesterday was Queensday and I have had a lot of fun selling my old stuff. I also bought two vintage sunglasses yesterday, which I will show you soon.
