4th of July

My holidays have started, yay! Today one of my friends gave a little birthday party, with a high tea. It was not just 'a party' because today is of course the 4th of July! Although it is not a special day here in Holland, she decided to still celebrate it, she is a big America-fan!

Exotic Animals in the Zoo of Antwerp

Together with my mom, I went to Antwerp for three days. We saw a lot of great things, bought nice clothes, and we also visited the zoo. Here are some pictures of the zoo.

Right Directions

Together with my friend in the pictures, I've shot some shots in an empty parking lot. It was a lot of fun to do, and my pleasure in taking pictures is growing more and more. 

Today the sun is shining and it instantly feels like summer is around the corner. A couple of days left until the official beginning of spring! I can't wait to go outside without a jacket and with shorts on.

As slow as a turtle

My friends and I took this pictures a while ago when we were picnicking in the park near our houses. I always seem to upload pictures really slow, maybe I'm just to lazy for that. the shoes in the fourth picture are my new Dr Martens! They are so comfortable and pretty, I love them (:

The last weeks have been very busy and loaded with fun stuff, school, work, water polo and finally celebrating my birthday. I love the idea that the next vacation is only a few weeks away!

The first time in my life I ever stood on a surfboard

Today I had the opportunity to surf for the first time of my life with school and it was really cool. Ofcourse I hoped I was some natural talent, but I just kept falling and falling. At the end of the day, I have been standing on the board for one whole second! Isn't that great? haha

Have you guys ever surfed? I bet you all are surf babes with beachy hair and brown skin, aren't you? (: And if you have never done it, you should really try, it is a great experience!

It's raining men

Kind of wanna have a picnick like this one one day.... (Tomorrow I will be having one with some friends, but not like this I guess haha)

This is already my last week of holiday! I can't believe it passed by so fast! Here in Holland this summer was the wettest summer since 1906, doesn't sound so good does it? It keeps raining and raining, it feels like autumn... I'm really happy I went to Greece, otherwise I would have died a little here.

I started working at the HEMA for the first time in my life last week so the last two weeks were pretty busy for me. Luckily it is very nice work to do with lovely people (:

Already packing

Going to Greece this night at 3 am, finally escaping the awfull weather here in Holland.

I will be swimming, sailing and tanning for 3 weeks on the great island Zakynthos and will not be able to post anything on my blog.

I will make a lot of photos because I got to borrow the Canon EOS 500D from my uncle, and I will ofcourse post some on Justtamar.

Three Days Left

These pictures kind of show what I'm doing this week: eating and learning. This week is my final week of school and I have tests every day, so I have to learn alot. I don't know why, but in testweeks I always seem to be eating a lot. I bought some fruit to make it a bit wholesome and healthy, but I don't think cookies and icecream are seen as healthy too.

The last few days we this awesome weather (30 degrees!) but half an hour ago it was storming like hell outside.

Red Hair Brown Eyes

I wish I could draw like this, or have hair like her....

I'm really excited because I only have two weeks of school left until the holidays! You would think it would be nice warm weather because it's so short till the summervacation, but nahh, in Holland it's just raining...

Fortunately I will go to Greece about a month, I'm really excited for that too! Can't wait to swim in the clear blue ocean and wear summerdresses...

But for now I will have to do it with watching a lot of online series, making homework, reading books, eating and sleeping.

Leopard and Strawberries

On the pictures you can see my new top from Monki, shorts from H&M and my breakfast from a few days ago.
I didn't post in quite a while, but I can explain why. First, I had a very busy week full of schooltrips and parties and this week, my internet was shut down for a couple of days. As you can see I made pictures, but I just wasn't able to post them yet.

Yesterday I went to my grandpa's birthday and me and my cousin took some pictures at the skateramp, just when the sun was going down. I think it gives a pretty cool effect.

I am wearing my primark shoes, the selfmade galaxytee, a jeanshirt from Only, necklace by Six, a black skirt from The Sting and grey thights from the H&M, just as the ring.

Sorry for the not posting anything the past week; Life has been busy.
Last week I had to do a lot for school, and this week I will have a testweek. The week after that, will also be very busy, but I will go to Amsterdam on Tuesday and Wednesday! (for school, but I will have some sparetime at wednesday = shopping!)

Flowerpower

Today was my last day of school! This means I will have one week of vacation!
I took these pictures with my friend Tessa, who you can see on some of the pictures. It was fun. The weather was really nice, but you can't really see on the pictures because I made them black and white (except the first one), sorry, haha.
Tomorrow will be Queensday, a day when everybody in Holland celebrates our Queens birthday (it's not even on the good day) by selling stuff on markets, drinking, dancing, going to festivals etcetera.
