Galaxies, again

I don't think I will ever get sick of galaxies. About a week ago I posted about the galaxy shoes I made, and about a year ago about my first shirt, but it will never be enough! I decided to begin my own little company to let other people also enjoy galaxy-awesomeness. I will make some shirts for a couple of friends. And because of this, I wanted to try some different techniques to make galaxy shirts.
I grabbed two old shirts I never wear, and I put some bleach in a spray bottle. I sprayed the tees and they started to look like this. After that, I washed them to stop the bleaching process. Next I will be painting them a little bit and adding stars, so this is not the final product, but I will show that whenever they are done.
I really liked this technique, the bleaching is very fast and it gives a really nice effect.

DIY Galaxy Shoes!!

Hello everybody,
It has been quite a long time since my last post, but here I am again!
The shoes in the picture are made by me! I saw a youtubeclip lately with a diy, where a girl showed how to make your own galaxy shoes. And since I have a kind of obsession with galaxies, I decided to make them.

I bought the shoes at primark for only 7 euros, so it is really worth a try.

Whatever you do, don't be afraid of the dark

This outfit is so comfortable! The shoes are from my mom and look alot like Doc Martens (In the near future I want to buy a pair of black docs, they look amazing). I made the tee myself, because I hade some paint left from my previous DIY shirt. The triad on the shirt is a logo from the band 30 Seconds To Mars (the title is a quote from one of their songs). The old shirt is also from my mom, maybe you've seen I wear it alot because it's just so comfortable. The shorts are from H&M.

Tomorrow I will be attending the auditions of SYTYCD (no, I will not be part of it, I totally CAN'T dance) together with a friend in Amsterdam. I'm so excited for it!

DIY Galaxy tee

I finally have my galaxytee! Who would have ever thought I would make it myself? (:
And because I like it so much; here is a DIY!

Things you need:
- Fabricpaint (my paint was supposed to be used on white fabric, but I don't think it would be better to buy paint for dark fabric)
- A black top or shirt
- A sponge or brush to apply the paint
- Something to tighten your shirt

Build the painting up in layers. first the dark colors, and at the end the lightest ones. I used a very dark blue, lila, brown and lightblue. I had some kind of  white 'paintstick' to apply the stars.
After you have painted everything, let your shirt dry for two hours. After that, turn it inside out and iron the back of the painting, this is called 'fixating'.
Ofcourse it's possible to paint something else, I hope I gave you some good inspiration!

Galaxies all over the place

I'm definately gonna make something like THIS in my vacation! I've been searching for a pretty long time now to have such a tee, why wouldn't I make it myself?
The only thing I need is a simple black tee and paint... And paintingskills, that's true. But you can always try, right?
